A cinnamon Churro Bite needs nothing. But "needs" and "deserves" are different words, and your churros deserve a dip. Four options, ranked by effort, all achievable while the air fryer runs.
1. Dulce de leche (effort: open a jar)
The canon pairing. Warm cinnamon into soft caramel is the churro experience at maximum settings. Buy a good jar, warm it for ten seconds so it loosens, and dip with intent.
2. Dark chocolate sauce (effort: 90 seconds)
Melt dark chocolate chunks with a splash of coconut milk, stir until glossy. The slight bitterness of real dark chocolate against cinnamon spice is a grown-up combination — this is the dip for the after-dinner crowd. (Keeps the whole plate dairy-free, too.)
3. Maple tahini (effort: whisk two things)
The sleeper. Two parts tahini, one part maple syrup, pinch of salt. Nutty, silky, not too sweet — it lets the cinnamon lead. People will ask what it is. Act casual.
4. Spiced coconut cream (effort: mildly impressive)
Chill a can of coconut cream, whip the solid part with a dash of cinnamon and vanilla. Cloud-like, cool against the warm bites, and it makes a Tuesday feel like an occasion.
The rule
Whatever you choose: dip warm. A cooled churro drags; a hot one carries. Five bites per sleeve, four sleeves per box — that's four dip experiments before you need to restock. Science demands it.
