A movie marathon is a catering event you host for yourself. And like any catering event, the menu should match the program. Here is the official Craverly genre-pairing guide, taken exactly as seriously as it deserves.
Horror → Cinnamon
You need comfort food when the cellar door creaks. Warm cinnamon is a weighted blanket in churro form. Time the air fryer for the opening act, before you're too scared to walk to the kitchen alone. (Take someone with you anyway.)
Rom-com → Vanilla
Sweet, warm, and reliable with hidden depth — vanilla is the rom-com lead. Pair with the grand-gesture scene. Bonus points for sharing the sleeve, which is basically the plot of the movie.
Action → Chocolate
Explosions demand intensity. Dark cacao holds its own against a car chase. Eat during the quiet dialogue scenes so you don't miss anything during the loud ones — this is experienced-viewer craft.
The trilogy marathon → the 3-Pack, obviously
Three films, three flavors, one Variety 3-Pack. Cinnamon for the setup, vanilla for the middle chapter, chocolate for the finale. Twelve sleeves means intermission snacks are covered through the extended editions.
The universal rule
Whatever the genre: fry at the start, dust while hot, and remember 1g of sugar per piece means no third-act crash. You'll be awake for the credits scene. There's always a credits scene.
